Thank you for visiting our Web site. Award Music, Inc. has been proudly providing quality service in Terrell and surrounding towns for over 7 years. We specialize in Rental, Repair and Sales of school band instruments, and in repair and sales of stringed instruments, such as guitars, basses, banjos, mandolins, violins, etc. Count on Award Music, Inc. for your musical needs, especially repair, since our on-site repairman, David Washburn, is also a professional musician himself and play tests the instruments that are repaired here.
Is your child starting band? Do they need an instrument? We carry a wide assortment of brands and models (see list below)! If you're not sure about purchasing a horn, fear not! We have an amazing monthly rental/rent-to-own policy! (Most rentals only require 2 years at the same job and 2 years at the same home. Other arrangements can be made if you're new to any area.) Come in or call us to find out how simple it is to rent a horn for your beginner child!
♥ We're known for our friendly, hometown service; but, will also accept musical instrument repairs by mail.
♥ If you wish to see the head Repairman personally, please call ahead, because there are some times he is not in the store, since he is also a professional performer.
♥ Call our store to schedule David alone or with any of his bands to perform for your party. The secretary can assist you. David is in GREAT demand by Dallas area Retirement Facilities, such as Assisted Living and Independent Living Communities. He performs twice monthly at Bavarian Grill Restaurant in Plano on the second and fourth Saturday from 7 pm to 10 pm in the beer gardens area. He also heads a Dixieland Jazz Band, called Three Quarters Fast, and is involved in other bands as well.
